With Su off saving lives in Honduras, Mya and I decided we’d run up Carrigain really quickly. Quick was right, as we had to be back to pick Su up at the airport that night.
It was a beautiful day for a early winter hike: blue skies, a slight brisk wind. No complaints here. There still wasn’t much snow on the ground, but it was definitely icy in spots, enough to pull out the spikes.
This video shows the ridge leading up to the fire tower at the summit of Carrigain: some spectacular views!
