After an exciting thanksgiving weekend with Su’s Family, we opted to take a nice, peaceful, relaxing little stroll up Mt. Starr King and over to Mt. Waumbek for Mike & Mya’s NH 4000 footer # 46 and Su’s #21!
With Su off saving lives in Honduras, Mya and I decided we’d run up Carrigain really quickly. Quick was right, as we had to be back to pick Su up at the airport that night.
Columbus Day weekend Mya and I decided to head up to the Whites for a Presidential Traverse. It was a beautiful, slightly chilly weekend, hardly any clouds aside from the morning fog, which was so thick that it could easily be mistaken for a calm lake.

The Pemi loop is a 32 mile loop in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. The loop summits a total of twelve 4000 foot peaks, if you count the side trails we took to bag a few outliers.
